Emigre: Littlebit
This type specimen book explores Emigre's Littlebit typeface through the lens of Philip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" The pixelated, geometric character of Littlebit mirrors the novel's themes of artificiality and manufactured reality. Each spread showcases the typeface's full range while weaving in excerpts and imagery from the dystopian narrative, demonstrating how a distinctly digital typeface can convey emotional depth and serve as both a practical design reference and atmospheric storytelling device.

With guidance from my professor, I created this digital zine for a typography class. The project challenged us to select a typeface and design a one-color type specimen that conveys a specific emotion or narrative. I chose to evoke existential dread through the lens of classic science fiction literature, pairing Emigre's Littlebit with themes from Philip K. Dick's dystopian world.
