"Tell me about yourself."
Well, that's a hard thing to do. Do you want the basics: the in-depth, the sad, the funny, the weird? And in what order: alphabetically, by relevancy, chronologically? I'm getting ahead of myself.
Hi! I'm Juniper Behun.
I use They/Them pronouns.
I am studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
I love logos, branding, advertising, and social media marketing.
Oh, and I'm a Libra (if that helps).

GROWTH MINDSET

I decided to follow my passion to Savannah, GA where I am now getting my B.F.A in Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising and Branding. I participate in lots of clubs and organisations in and out of SCAD. I am part of the Ad Club and AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts). Outside of SCAD, I am on One of Us Global's social impact team doing graphics and writing copy.
To get more into it, I was born in Wisconsin and moved to the Chicago suburbs when I was young. I have always been an art kid, but I really started my graphic design journey in my sophomore year of high school (go HPHS Giants!) when I took Graphic Design I/II. I went from drawing on Procreate and on paper every day to designing on Illustrator and (still) on paper every day. I studied cool typefaces, new artists, and bold ideas I had never heard about before. It is an understatement to say I fell down the rabbit hole. I fell down the hole that went right through the center of the earth and popped out into graphic design heaven!
From then on, I wasn't just an art kid; I was the logo guy (that was seriously how I was known in high school).
Outside of art... well, there's more art. My hobbies include drawing, making 3-D art, reading, listening to music, and watching TV and movies (and a lot more). I have a special place in my heart for animated content and anything horror! I also play games like Dungeons and Dragons and do technical theatre work for theatrical productions to develop my long-form storytelling abilities and connect with my lovey nerd community. It's also an excuse to horde dice like a goblin...
